Shakira and Gerard Pique, the World Cup-winning Spanish defender, have denied reports linking them romantically.
Various media stations in Spain had suggested that the pair were in a relationship, but Pique has made it clear that no such romance exists. “Shakira and I are just friends. There is no more to it.”
This was not the first time the two have been rumoured to be an item, as Shakira had dismissed the claims only a few months ago. “Pique and I together? What is true is that it is a ‘waka-rumour!”
