Police release images of 7 Bogota bombing suspects

by Arron Daugherty May 17, 2012

Bombing

Colombian authorities Wednesday released images of suspects of Tuesday’s assassination attempt on a former minister in the Colombian capital of Bogota.

Last Tuesday a bomb exploded in the north of Bogota killing five people and wounding 39 others. Police said the bombing’s intended target was conservative ex-minister Fernando Londoño. Authorities also alleged Colombia’s largest guerrilla group, the FARC, was responsible for the attack.

Police have yet to release the identities of the suspects.
