5 soldiers injured in grenade attack

Colombia news- soldier injured

Five soldiers have been injured in a grenade explosion at a military housing base near the town of Sogamoso, in the central Colombian department of Boyaca, reported El Tiempo.

The blast occurred at the Tarqui Battalion around 7:00AM on Tuesday, reported authorities.

The army soldiers were taken to the Specialist Clinic in Sogamosa. A spokesperson from the hospital said that two of the soldiers suffered wounds to the face and head and remain in a critical condition.
