4-day Valle del Cauca fair to feature music, horses, cattle

by Marguerite Cawley June 13, 2011

Colombia News - Tulua Fair

The 56th annual “Feria de Tulua” will take place in Tulua, in the Valle del Cauca department, from June 23-27, featuring a mix of equestrian shows, cattle expos and reggaeton concerts, reported the event website.

Over the course of the festival, located just outside the city of Cali, four major concerts will be presented at Tulua’s Manuel Victoria Rojas fairgrounds, featuring popular Puerto Rican performer Don Omar and Colombian artist J. Balvin, among others.

Farming and industrial machinery displays and a horse procession to close the show can also be found at the four-day fair, which draws visitors from all over the department in what the event site calls “the best party of the first half of the year in our region.”

The fairgrounds will be fully equipped with the necessary items, including food and drink, parking, emergency health care facilities, ATMs and an information center.

The full program of events will soon be released at feriadecali.com.
