by Toni Peters February 17, 2011

Colombia new - Arrests

Colombian authorities report the capture of 10 suspected members of neo-paramilitary drug organization “Los Urabeños” and one of drug gang “Los Rastrojos,” Caracol Radio reported Thursday.

The detainees suspected of belonging to Los Urabeños were captured in operations which were part of Plan Troy in the municipalities of La Apartada, Ayapel, Monteria, and Valencia in the northern department of Cordoba.

Gustavo Adolfo Hernandez Martinez, alias “Figurita,” – an alleged member of the criminal organization Los Rastrojos and considered by the authorities to be one of the most wanted criminals in the region of Bajo Cauca – was captured in the municipality of Caucasia.
