Santa Fe held in Liga Postobon, Nacional lose

Colombian Liga Postobon leaders Independiente Santa Fe were held to a 1-1 draw by Deportivo Cali on Saturday, while Atletico Nacional suffered a 2-0 defeat at America de Cali.

Leaders Santa Fe hosted Deportivo Cali at El Campin stadium in Bogota, where the visiting side took the lead through Cesar Amaya in the 42nd minute.

Argentinian playmaker Omar Perez limited the damage, scoring the equalizer in the 58th minute for 1-1. This would also be the final result.

Atletico Nacional failed to impress at America de Cali, suffering a 2-0 defeat. Both goals were scored in the opening half, with Jhon Lozano finding the target in the 18th minute and Wilson Morelo doing so just before the break.

Once Caldas jumped to third position following a 1-0 victory over Cucuta Deportivo. Dayro Moreno scored the winning goal four minutes before the hour mark.

Cucuta were a man down for most of the match as Paraguayan Carlos Baez conceded a direct red card in the 22nd minute.
