According to the Police, the highest priorities are Daniel Barrera, alias “El Loco,” Maximiliano Bonilla Orozco, alias “Valenciano,” Erick Vargas, alias “Sebastian” and the brother Javier Antonio and Luis Enrique Calle Serna, alias the “Combas.”

“El Loco” Barrera is the only one of three fugutive drug lords considered the top of Colombian kingpins in early 2009. Daniel Rendón Herrera, alias “Don Mario” was arrested in April 2009 and Cuchillo died on Christmas day following an attack on the ranch where he was hiding.

The Combas are the leaders of Los Rastrojos, formed from the now-defunct Norte del Valle cartel, and Valenciano and Sebastian are rival leaders within the Office of Envigado, originally created by Pablo Escobar and taken over by paramilitary organization AUC after Escobar’s death.

Meanwhile, the police says it will intensify efforts in thr southeast of Colombia to dismantle ERPAC, the paramilitary-like organization led by Cuchillo.
