In a jab at Mockus and , who are both former mayors of Bogota, Luna said that “there are many candidates who represent the past, there are others who represent the future.”

Luna served for many years on Bogota’s city council. For the past two months, Luna has lagged behind and Socialist candidate Gustavo Petro in opinion polls.
