Colombian soccer league week 6 preview

Top of the league Itagui Ditaires face reigning champions Junior Baranquilla in the pick of the weekend’s fixtures.

Junior, still suffering from the departure of last year’s top scorer Carlos Bacca to Belgian side Club Brugge, have endured an average start to their Apertura campaign, winning only one of their first five games.

Liga Posotbon new boys Itagui, based in the suburbs of Colombia’s second city Medellin, are enjoying a dream start to the season and are currently unbeaten after three wins and two draws.

Deportes Tolima will look to build on last week’s smash-and-grab victory away to Atletico Nacional when they face Once Caldas, who are currently sitting equal bottom of the table.

The bettor’s choice would be a tie between Deportivo Pasto and Bogota’s Santa Fe, who have registered 7 draws between them so far this season.
