Colombia health authorities confirmed the eighth AH1N1 fatality in
the country and raised the number of confirmed virus infections to 202.
The latest person to die of the pandemic flu is a girl from Bogota, who was admitted to hospital on July 11, complaining about fever, a cough, respitory problems, a blocked nose, trouble drinking liquidsand aching muscles.
Despite immediately being treated for AHN1N, she died two days later.
So far 202 Colombians were confirmed to have AH1N1, including the eight fatalities. The Capital Bogota was hit the most by the flu outbreak.
