Chocquibtown premier new music video (video)

Colombian group Chocquibtown have premiered the video to their new song “Calentura,” featuring Puerto Rican reggaeton star Tego Calderon.

The song is the second release from the group’s third album “Eso es lo que hay,” and the video was recorded in Bogota and Cali.

Chocquibtown hail from the Pacific coastal department of Choco and their origins can be heard in the music they produce, which infuses traditional regional instruments, such as the Chonta Marimba, in to a modern sound which fills clubs throughout Latin America.

The group will be appearing at Barranquilla Carnival, commencing Saturday, which is Colombia’s biggest carnival.
