12 members of Ochoa Vasco cartel captured

Colombian Police captured 12 members of extradited drug trafficking paramilitary Fabio Ochoa Vasco’s cartel, local media reported Thursday.

The Police arrested the criminals accused of drug trafficking and money laundering in Cali, Medellin, Bogota and several municipalities in Cundinamarca.

Last Week, the U.S. Treasury Department added seven Colombian companies, including Parque Ecológico Recreacional de las Aguas de Girardot and Misión Inmobiliaria Limitada, to its sanction list for alleged links with the drug trafficking organization of Fabio Ochoa Vasco.

The United States considered “Carlos Mario” to be one of the biggest drug traffickers in Colombia.
