16 members of ‘Los Rastrojos’ arrested

Colombia’s Army and police said on Thursday that they have captured sixteen members
of the paramilitary group ‘Los Rastrojos’ in the Choco department.

Among the arrested is one minor. Two suspects were wounded during the operation, army commander, admiral Guillermo Barrera told local media.

The security forces seized eighteen guns, one machine gun and grenades.

According to Barrera, the operations around the town of Pizarro were a significant blow against the structure of drug trafficking in that area.
