‘Valenciano’ to get fast-track sentencing in US: Police

Maximiliano Bonilla Orozco, alias “Valeciano,” will not face trial in the United States as his guilt has already been established, said the director of Colombia’s National Police.

“This person is not going to face trial, the only thing missing is that he face a grand jury in order to know how many years he will be given,” said Oscar Naranjo, director of Colombia’s National Police.

Valenciano was the leader of drug trafficking organization “Oficina de Envigado.” He was the main person in charge of drug trafficking routes to the United States through Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras.

General Narajo sent a warning to the successors of Bonilla and members of the criminal gang “Los Paisas” to which Oficina de Envigado used to be linked, who will be restructuring follow the capture of the gang boss.

Valenciano was captured in Maracay, Venezuela on November 28 and will be extradited to the United States in the coming days.
