Police capture two paramilitaries wanted in Nariño

Bogota police captured two members of the paramilitary group “Black Eagles” on suspicion of drug trafficking, terrorism, extortion, conspiracy and murder.

The two men were identified as Peláez Gustavo Adolfo Ramirez, 32, and Francisco Cortes Garcia, aka “Skinny”, 21, according to a report by El Espectador on Monday.

Police say the two are among the “most wanted in Nariño,” especially in the municipality of Tumaco, where they are accused of several murders. Intelligence work led to the capture of the two at a bus terminal in the city’s south side.
