One dies in Bogota soccer riot

One minor was killed early Saturday morning when hooligans of two top Cali teams attacked each other in the capital Bogota.

The disturbances took place near the capital’s main bus terminal.

Friends of the victim told RCN Radio that Bogota fans of America de Cali had waited for the arrival of Deportivo Cali fans who are visiting the city for Sunday’s match against Bogota side Santa Fe.

The confrontation between the two groups began at 2AM and lasted more than two hours before Police was able to end the violence.

The radio station reported that four hooligans were arrested.
