Benicio del Toro’s Pablo Escobar film premieres at Toronto Film Festival

“Escobar: Paradise Lost” tells the story of a young man who falls in love with a Colombian, which turns out to be the niece of the legendary leader of the Medellin cartel.

Directed by Italian Andrea Di Stefano, the film tells the story of a young man (Josh Hutcherson) who, during a visit to his brother falls in love with a beautiful Colombian. Everything seems perfect until she meets the man she works for, her uncle, Pablo Escobar (Benicio del Toro).

Benicio del Toro brings to life the legendary leader of the Medellin cartel in the movie which had its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on Thursday.
