More Chileans visit Bogota

More Chileans are visited Bogota via commercial air traffic, according to Chile’s Civil Aeronatics Board (CAB).

Chile reported that between January and April, 58,000 passengers were flown between Santiago and Bogota, a 53.2% increase over the same period last year.

Many Chileans use the route for tourism purposes, but the rise in traffic is likely also due to the growth of private business between the two nations. Colombia is currently Chile’s fourth largest recipient of foreign investment.
