Medellin constructing bilingual online tourism portal

Colombia’s second largest city Medellin is building a bilingual online tourism portal to help English-speaking tourists visiting the city.

The new website, medellin.travel, is online already, but in a beta version. The city’s tourism secretary hopes the website will be fully functional within six months.

The website will provide information about the city’s tourist attractions in both Spanish and English.

Medellin is the Colombia’s third largest tourist destination after Bogota and Cartagena.
