Madonna gig to be held in Bogota: W Radio

Pop diva Madonna has included Colombia’s capital Bogota, and not the country’s second largest city Medellin, in her 2012 World Tour, W Radio reported Tuesday.

The radio station said that official Mexican sources have confirmed the concert will be held on November 29.

W Radio contradicted claims made a day earlier by competitor Caracol Radio that had said the concert will be held in Medellin.

The diva’s website did not confirm the reported gig in support of her latest album, MDNA. So far, only European and North American gigs have been published on the singer’s website.

Madonna, responsible for selling some 300 million records worldwide, would be the world’s biggest star ever to play in Colombia.
