Junior beat Medellin in 7 goal thriller

Barranquilla’s Atletico Junior dominated Medellin on Wednesday, with a final score of 4-3.

Played at the Metropolitano stadium of Barranquilla, the game was tight, and saw impressive goals from both sides.

Medellin’s three goals were scored by Ivan “Champeta” Velasquez, Luis Fernando Mosquera (on a penalty) and William Arboleda.

Junior fans can thank Vladimir Hernandez, Carlos Bacca (who scored two) and Victor Cortes for this victory, which brought the Junior on top of the rankings.

Following Barranquilla in the rankings are Itagui and Bogota’s Millonarios.
