Cucuta Deportivo took advantage of Tolima’s slip-up to jump back into second place with a 2-1 win over Deportivo Cali. Wilson Carpintero’s 21st-minute goal was canceled out by Cali’s Andres Perez in the 56th, but Roberto Polo had the final say, 2-1 in the 69th minute.

In the day’s remaining match, Cortulua beat Envigado 2-1 and left their opponents with no points after seven games.

Currently on course for a spot in the next round are: Santa Fe, Cucuta, Tolima, Huila, La Equidad, Quindio, Cartagena and Nacional.
