Colombian police seize 300kg of cocaine in Cali

Colombian police seized 300 kilograms of pure cocaine on a bus headed for the central department of Antioquia, Colombian media reported Thursday.

The drugs were being transported in boxes marked with the logos of international media organizations, representing a new drug trafficking method.

According to the reports, the criminal gangs have allegedly been using the international media logos in order to avoid suspicion and evade controls.

The drugs allegedly belong to the criminal gang led by brothers Javier Antonio and Luis Enrique Calle Serna, better known as “Los Comba.”

The cocaine was going to be moved on a tourism bus that would have taken the drugs from Cali in the west Colombian department of Valle del Cauca to Antioquia.
