Electronic group The Chemical Brothers will play shows in Colombia’s two largest cities this fall.
The British duo of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons will play shows in Medellin and Bogota possibly September 14 and September 15, although official dates have no been announced, local media reported.
Alfredo Villaveces, director of the concert promoter, Evenpro, confirmed the concerts on Tuesday.
Because the Medellin and Bogota concerts are the only dates The Chemical Brothers have set in South America, the duo will play a Dj set, lasting about two and a half hours, approximately one hour longer than the duration of their typical live performances.
For shows outside of their fixed concert schedule he group often uses the Dj set.
The band’s recently-released live album and film “The Chemical Brothers’ Don’t Think: A Film By Adam Smith” has been hailed as a “psychedelic classic” by Mojo magazine and the Guardian called it ” …one of the best films about dance music ever made.”
