Cartagena take the lead in Colombia’s Postobon League thanks to a convincing 0-3 victory at Junior Barranquilla in the first game of the season.
The coastal encounter was one of several derbies that marked the beginning of the new soccer season that started Saturday.
Because none of the teams drew, the 18-team standings is divided in two.
Cartagena, Santa Fe, Nacional, Once Caldas, Pereira, Huila, Cali and Medellin all have three points while America, Itagui, Cucuta, Envigado, Boyaca Chico, Equidad, Junior and Tolima have zero points after round one.
Quindio and Millonarios are both also without points but were not able to play their match.
