The Museum of Antioquia in Medellin Wednesday opened an exhibition of
Pablo Picasso. The art of the Spanish painter will be exposed until 9
August.
It is the first time that the 100 paintings of Picasso, which were acquired by the Spanish Foundation Mapfre in 2008, are displayed outside of the artist’s home country.
The exhibitions will be divided into three main themes: “The Workshop of the Sculptor” with 46 paintings, “The Minotaur” with 19 works and “The battle of Love” with five pieces.. The other 30 paintings will be exhibited with a specific theme.
