‘Colombia’s most foul-mouthed woman’ gone missing after fight with boyfriend

Doña Gloria, a Medellin woman who gained national fame after a video of her cursing unrelentingly went viral, has gone missing after a fight with her partner, her daughters said Friday.

Gloria Estela Zapata gained national fame after a video of her taking Medellin’s metrocart system went viral. In the video, the woman expresses a wide variety of local obscenities.

Her appearance on YouTube has since been seen by 5 million people and on social media, dozens of fan pages and twitter accounts have been created.

However, the woman has been missing since in a fight with her boyfriend, her daughters told newspaper El Tiempo.

Citing neighbors who said to have overheard the fight, Doña Gloria told her boyfriend she was going “to disappear” after the man refused to sustain his girlfriend and her family, one of the daughters told the newspaper.

Initially, both daughters thought Doña Gloria had gone to stay with family in Cali or Bogota, but since the woman never appeared at any family member, her family members decided to report her missing and turn to local media in order to secure her return home.
