Bogota reggaeton singer found butchered

Authorities discovered the dismembered body of a missing reggaeton singer from Bogota in the outskirts of Medellin on Saturday.

German David Uribe, 22, sang for the group “Tres Kilantes,” before he went missing February 23 during a trip to Medellin. The discovery of the body came after authorities detained two suspects, a taxi driver and a mechanic, in Bello, which lies on Medellin’s northern border.

The taxi driver allegedly delivered Uribe to the mechanic’s workshop before the singer’s disappearance.

Known by his stage name, Nikel, Uribe came to Medellin to promote the latest Tres Kilantes single, “Sueltate,” or “Lose yourself.”
