Colombia’s “city of eternal spring,” Medellin, will kick off its annual Youth Week this weekend with music, literature, cinema, and activities – all designed to cater to the city’s young people.
The event will feature a “Latin Jam Sessions” offering 100 youths the opportunity to display their jazz and salsa skills to event-goers, “Youth Reading Stations” hosting a non-stop 24-hour session dedicated to literature, a youth cinema station, and a bicentennial celebration starting at the Pablo Tobon Uribe theater and marching to the Guayaquil bridge.
The event, which is organized by the Medellin Secretary of Culture, will run from July 10 to July 18.
