Colombia’s Calamity Fund says to have access to 12 billion pesos (US$ 6,5 million) for immediate help. The national government has reserved and extra 4 billion pesos (US$ 2,1 million) for additional aid.Antioquia in the north west, Santander in the east and Nariño in the south are the departments most seriously affected by the water.Dozens of roads throughout the country are blocked because of floods and landslides. Cities like Medellín and Manizales almost are isolated from the rest of the country. The army’s been asked to build airbridges and deliver food to areas unable to be reached by land.
