Uribe not a victim in Cordoba investigation: Supreme Court

Colombia’s Supreme Court has decided that former President Alvaro Uribe can not be treated as a victim in the investigation against ex-Senator Piedad Cordoba, Caracol Radio reported Wednesday.

The court did not have evidence that Cordoba caused injury or harm to Uribe.

The former senator is being investigated for her alleged ties to the left-wing guerrilla organization FARC.

Former president Uribe made the request August 3. July 1 Uribe was denied access to the files in the case against Cordoba.
