Authorities are investigating the early morning double-homicide of two priests in Colombia’s capital, Bogota.

Two priests were found shot to death in an abandoned car early Thursday morning in the neighbourhood of Kennedy in southwest Bogota.

According to El Nuevo Herald, both priests were in their 30s and preached in municipalities close to where their bodies were discovered.

According to RCN Radio, initial reports said that an unknown man was traveling with the priests in a red Chevrolet Aveo when he shot them at close range and fled in another vehicle.
