Two men found with $80,000 in their stomachs

Two men were arrested trying to enter Colombia with $80,000 dollars’ in their stomachs on Friday.

The men from Colombia and Venezuela had arrived on a flight into Medellin international airport from Costa Rica and were detained by immigration officials after showing signs of irregular behaviour.

When asked to present travel documents the Venezuelan man appeared strangely nervous, prompting officials to call in help from the police.

Upon a further body scan, where any foreign element in a person’s stomach can be detected, 40 finger capsules, each with 10 $100 bills in were found.
