Third Bogota car bomb suspect arrested

Bogota authorities arrested a third man suspected of involvement in the August car bombing in the Colombian capital on August 12.

According to various media, the man was arrested in the south of Bogota. The identity of the man and his alleged role in the terrorist attack are unknown.

On Friday and Saturday, authorities arrested two other suspects, both allegedly involved in falsifying the license plates of the car used in the attack. One of the suspects entered a witness protection program after he promised to bring the police to three men who had ordered the falsification and could be the perpetrators of the attack.
