Anita Toro is Colombia’s most popular webcam girl, a dubious success story preceded by years of sexual exploitation, as revealed in men’s magazine Don Juan.
The 20-year old’s webcam success was enabled by her American husband, who paid for her breast-enhancement surgery when she was 18 and allowed his wife to make money showing her body online.
Toro told Don Juan that from the ages of six to 12 she was sequestered in an orphanage as her father was an alcoholic and her mother had persistent schizophrenia. Toro said that she often tried to escape the orphanage, and after a receiving a physical scolding when she was 12 went to a police station to demand her release. According to the model, she lost her virginity to a policeman.
After the police denied her request, Toro escaped and joined Colombia’s underage sex industry. Toro had her first experience when she was 15 with a pair of Italian tourists and quickly moved into a Medellin brothel. From there, after a brief arrest by the police, Toro intensified her work as an underage prostitute, serving what she described as “politicians, journalists and singers…” by the time she was 16 years old.
Anita met her husband that same year. Introduced to a 63-year-old American doctor by his son, Anita married the American at 17.
Shortly after, Anita began working as a web-cam girl showing off her body on the internet, which — in the two years she’s been active on webcams — has made her the most popular webcam girl in Latin America.
She currently lives apart from her husband in a home in Medellin, has her own website, has more than 33,000 fans on facebook and some 32,000 followers on Twitter.
