Southwest Colombia motorcycle bomb kills 3, injures 20

A motorcycle bomb in a town in the south west of Colombia killed at least three and injured at least twenty people on Wednesday.

According to a preliminary media reports, a motorcycle packed with explosives was abandoned outside the police station in the coastal town of Tumaco.

According to newspaper El Tiempo, five people were killed including two policemen.

Authorities have not made statements on who is suspected of the bombing.

Tumaco is a port town considered crucial for drug trafficking where several of Colombia’s most prominent illegal armed groups are active.
