Santa Fe striker takes medical tests after crashing car

Sante Fe striker Leider Preciado is undergoing medical tests after crashing his car in Bogota on Monday, reported Colombian media.

While Preciado did not sustain any serious injuries, the cause of his crash is of concern. According to reports, he lost control of his vehicle after suffering what authorities suspect was a hypoglycemic attack.

The Colombian soccer player also reported pain in his head so doctors decided to run tests to determine the cause of accident. According to Sante Fe Radio, the Bogota Transit Police confirmed that the paramedic who treated Preciado found signs of what could be indicative of an epileptic seizure, although the player’s doctor reported that he does not suffer from epilepsy.

The crashed occurred in the intersection of Calle 138 and Avenida Boyaca in northern Bogota.
