Quibdo grenade attack leaves 11 injured

Eleven people were injured Sunday when unknown attackers threw a
fragmentation grenade to a bar in Quibdo, capital of the western Choco
department.

According to Caracol Radio, two young men on a motorbike threw the explosive to the bar and then disappeared.

The wounded were taken to a nearby hospital.

The attack is the tenth that hit to the Choco capital this year. Authorities plan a special security council meeting Monday to discuss the security situation in teh city.
