Colombia’s Police said Monday they have seized almost 10,000 pounds of marijuana within three days in Medellin.
Four men were arrested as they attempted to smuggle a load of 5,000 pounds of the illicit drug in a truck carrying oranges.
In that operation, the police found more than 101 bales of marijuana, weighing approximately 5,597 pounds and with an estimated value of $1.69 million.
According to the police, the drugs were for the domestic consumption market and assumed to belong to Medellin crime lord “Sebastian.”
