Former playmate Renata Gonzalez will star in a theater play called ‘Infraganti’.
The Colombian beauty will replace Sara Corrales who had an affair with actor Robinson Diaz, husband of the play’s producer.
Renata Gonzalez, who won the Miss Playboy TV award in 2003, has been looking for an acting job for quite a while and now she is facing, what she says, her biggest challenge in her theater career. Gonzalez will play a woman who runs away with the boyfriend of a friend in the comedy ‘Infraganti’.
The former star of the show, Sara Corrales, was allegedly kicked out of the play after her affair with actor Robinson Diaz was made public. Diaz is the husband of Adriana Arrango who produces ‘Infraganti’.
Bad move of Corrales, but good for Gonzalez who is happy about her new job. “The working environment is very quiet and everybody is very professional,” the model told newspaper El Tiempo.
“I want to feel the contact with the public and this is only possible by playing in a theater,” Gonzalez said.
For those who are interested in feeling the contact with the playmate too, ‘Infraganti’ will be shown in the Astor Plaza Theater in Bogota from August 20 until September 26.
