Planet Earth music festival expands to Colombia

The music festival “Planeta Terra” (Planet Earth) will make its way to Colombia for the first time.

Planeta Terra has always been based out of Sao Paulo, Brazil, but this year for its 6th edition the music festival is expanding to the South American countries of Colombia and Peru. The festival announced on their site Thursday that there will be many renowned international invites performing at the festivals during the month of October.

As proprietor of the festival, Brazil will be hosting some of the biggest international invites. The shows will then move on to Lima, Peru on October 13 where many famous bands have already confirmed.

Planeta Terra will then make its way to Colombia’s capital Bogota on October 27 where international invites such as Garbage, Evanescence and The Drums will be performing. Tickets for the Bogota show went on sale August 21 for the festival that will begin at 4PM in one of the capital’s sports arenas.

The festival’s site expects it to be a day filled with lots of music, talent, and rhythm.
