Pet Shop Boys to ‘electrify’ Bogota

British pop duo the Pet Shop Boys will electrify fans with a concert in Colombia’s capital of Bogota on May 25, as part of their “Electric” world tour.

Pet Shop Boys are one of the most successful British pop duos of all time, and the impending concert in Bogota will mark their first in Colombia since 1994. The latest tour is named after their forthcoming album, “Electric”, which will launch in June 2013.

Formed in 1981, the duo is most well known for such hit singles as “Go West,” “What Have I Done to Deserve This,” and “New York City Boy.” The band’s brand of dance pop has flourished for over 30 years, winning multiple BRIT music awards receiving six Grammy awards throughout their career.
