Rocker Ozzy Osbourne will play in Parque Simon Bolivar in Bogota on April 16, in his first-ever show in Colombia.
Ozzy will perform in Bogota as part of a larger tour of South America in which he is promoting his new album “Scream.” He has already visited Buenos Aires and Santiago, and will hit Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro after Bogota. According to events site vive.in, the tour marks not only his first visit to Colombia, but also his first time performing in South America.
Since it was launched in June 2010, “Scream” has achieved the status of most-sold rock and hard rock album in the U.S.
The British rocker began his music career 40 years ago as the vocalist for heavy metal band Black Sabbath and, after experiencing a great deal of success with the group, launched his solo career.
