Once Caldas and Cúcuta lead in Copa Mustang

Once Caldas and Cúcuta Deportivo lead the two groups of the second
round in this year’s Copa Mustand I, and are on course for a spot in
the final.

In Bogotá, Once Caldas drew 1-1 with La Equidad and remain on top in Group A. Johan Fano put the Manizales outfit ahead on 28 minutes but Argentinian midfielder Diego Cochas levelled in the 68th.

In the other Group A match, Boyacá Chicó and Deportes Tolima drew 0-0. Tolima share the second place with La Equidad at two points from Once Caldas, while Chicó are last with just one point.

In Group B, Cúcuta took the lead thanks to a rather impressive 1-2 win at Deportivo Cali. The home side scored the opening goal through Edgar Pardo in the 25th minute but Edinsson Pinzón equalised right after half time. The winning goal came from César Arias in minute 64.

The match between Envigado and Junior ended in a goalless result.

Cúcuta lead this group with four points, followed by Junior and Envigado with two each. Cali, one of the favorites in advance, have only one point.
