‘Save the Children’ to promote youth rights in Colombia

NGO ‘Save the Children‘ plans to strengthen its presence in
Colombia by investing in programs that promote the Rights of the Child
in the South American country.

The director of Save the Children Colombia, Robyn Braverman, said the initiative will “enhance and strengthen support for children as well as expanding the reach of our organization in the country,” RCN Radio reported Friday.

The new initiative is thanks to an agreement signed by Sweden, the U.K. and Canada, who will provide the funding for the project.

The initiative will be officially launched Friday in Bogota. Representatives in Colombia from UNICEF, Plan International and World Vision will attend along with other organizations that focus on the development of public policy on the Rights of the Child.
