New route between Orlando and Colombia

Orlando residents have a new way to get to Colombia and other destinations in Central and South America.

Avianca Airlines officials announced Friday that it will start service this summer between Orlando International Airport and Bogota.

Avianca Airlines already flies to four other U.S. cities: Fort Lauderdale, Miami, New York and Washington.

Colombians make up the third largest Hispanic group in metro Orlando.
