Colombia’s National Police captured Thursday Walter Garcia Vidal alias
‘Totto’, alleged leader of the paramilitary group ‘Los Rastrojos’.
Police captured ‘Totta’ in a shopping center in Caliand is the second head of the drug gang to be caught in one week.
Colombia’s army last week also reported the demobilization of 112 members of the gang, but the Ombudsman of Choco dennounced a new type of ‘false positives’ saying that 42 peasants were forced to join the massive demobilization. The army denied this one day later.
‘Los Rastrojos’ are active mostly in the south west of Colombia.
