A massive new Eurostar hotel will be built in downtown Bogota by 2014 said the Spanish hotel giant Hotusa Monday.
Hotusa, in conjuction with Colombian building company BD Bacata, is building the luxury hotel complex which it hopes will be the new icon of urban development in Bogota’s historic center.
“There is confidence in this country. We are beginning to envision many opportunities. It is a country with major cities, rich in history and culture and a large market size, it has become an important reference point for many foreign business investments,” said the president of Hotusa, Amancio Lopez.
The 40-floor hotel will have 323 suites, two gourmet restaurants and bars, spaces for entertainment and events, and a luxury spa.
