Mutai wins Bogota Half Marathon

The world’s fastest marathon runner, Kenyan Geoffrey Mutai, won the Bogota Half Marathon Sunday.

The 29-year-old Mutai clocked the course record time of one hour, two minutes and 20 second, finishing two minutes and 20 seconds before Deriba Merga of Ethiopia who held the Bogota record until Sunday afternoon.

Mutai ran the fastest marathon ever in Boston in April when he clocked two hours, three minutes and two seconds.
