Models hit the catwalk for Bogota’s fashion week

Bogota’s second annual fashion week opens Tuesday with a tribute to Colombian designer Mario Hernandez, whose Bogota-based leather goods label has been running for over 30 years, El Espectador reports.

Also hitting the catwalk on the first night of the fashion bonanza are collections by designers Tatiago, Gabi Arenas and Julia Rodriguez.

Over 620 labels will be showcased during fashion week, while the Salon de la Moda trade fair will bring together over 170 exhibitors. The fair will be visited by representatives of the international fashion industry, entrepreneurs, chain stores, and members of the public.

The fashion shows run from February 16 to 21. For more information click here.
